Miami Beach Community Center – Civic Design Studio
This project involved the design of a community center in Miami Beach, Florida, aimed at fostering social connection, physical wellness, and creative learning. The proposal included a variety of public programs such as a skate park, gymnasium, classrooms, and lounge areas, all integrated into a cohesive architectural vision. A major feature of the design was the skate park, conceived as a safe, inclusive space for skaters of all levels to gather and practice. The gymnasium supported a wide range of fitness activities, while dedicated classrooms offered opportunities for community-based learning in art, music, and technology. The project emphasized accessibility, versatility, and the creation of a vibrant civic hub for people of all ages.
