Brasilia - Superquadra 308 Reconstruction
Our project in Brasília reimagined the iconic Superquadra 308 by Burle Marx and Lucio Costa, preserving its foundational principles while introducing bold changes aimed at enhancing community life. Unlike the original layout, which emphasized uniformity and separation of functions, our design embraced mixed-use spaces, increased pedestrian connectivity, and integrated transportation improvements to reduce car dependency. We expanded green areas significantly, weaving in parks, shaded walkways, and community gardens to foster social interaction and environmental sustainability. Additionally, we introduced new community-oriented buildings—such as cultural centers, co-working hubs, and recreational spaces—to serve diverse needs and create a more vibrant, inclusive urban fabric.
